In this, they found thirty or forty windmills that were in that field. As soon as Don Quixote saw them he said to his squire:
"Fortune is guiding our affairs better than contrive to want, because you see there, friend Sancho Panza, where thirty or a few more, monstrous giants, with whom I do battle and take away all their lives, from whose spoils we shall begin to enrich; that this is righteous warfare, and it's great service to God to sweep so evil a breed from the face of the earth."
